1. What I measure
A CGM (continuous glucose monitor) is a small sensor on the back of the arm that reads glucose every few minutes. After a meal the line goes up, peaks, and comes back down. I look at how high it rises from where it started — the "rise" in mg/dL.
2. My yardstick
150g of plain white rice raises my glucose by about +74 mg/dL. When I test a drink or a habit, I eat the same rice and compare.

3. How to read my results
- mg/dL and mmol/L: I show both. 18 mg/dL ≈ 1 mmol/L.
- "% smaller rise": how much lower the rise was than rice alone.
- One test vs. many: a single number can swing a lot. I trust patterns across repeated tests.
